The supporters of Lamestars booed when FC Piemonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmons McWillie didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis-Enrique Rosa in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sylwester Kasperowicz saved Lamestars from getting behind. Sylwester Kasperowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Becan Molloy, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Brazil Rogers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, FC Piemonte's Timmons McWillie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylwester Kasperowicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timmons McWillie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sylwester Kasperowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmons McWillie in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, FC Piemonte's Timmons McWillie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sylwester Kasperowicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Begg Scully could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Harold McGlenn made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Lamestars's Aaron Jameson was substituted for Brazil Rogers. Lamestars's Robin Hoeybroeck was substituted for Braon Mullan. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Begg Scully was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Begg Scully who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Piemonte's Harold McGlenn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Harold McGlenn came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Lamestars's Begg Scully. But to his dismay, Begg Scully quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. FC Piemonte's Harold McGlenn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Séamus Morrison in the 64th minute of play. Luis-Enrique Rosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sylwester Kasperowicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis-Enrique Rosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Harold McGlenn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Deery in the 70th minute of the match. With a little luck, Lamestars's Sylwester Kasperowicz got control of the ball when Luis-Enrique Rosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Lamestars's goalkeeper Sylwester Kasperowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timmons McWillie. Hickey Hunt kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, FC Piemonte's goal looked a bit too open when Séamus Morrison came free, but Harold McGlenn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 played minutes FC Piemonte got a freekick which was hit by Timmons McWillie. Harold McGlenn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davie Barrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis-Enrique Rosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Sylwester Kasperowicz made a huge save.
