Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rune Holter took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Brunvoll in the 2nd minute of play forced MCFC's goalkeeper Erik Dalheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, MCFC's Christer Søyland got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Henrik Nordeide scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Dalheim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MCFC's Erik Dalheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Brunvoll in the 8th minute of play. Thomas Rustad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Langen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, MCFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rune Holter to maneuver through the defense. Tenvik's Thomas Rustad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Langen in the 15th minute of play. When MCFC's Eric Langen in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tenvik's goalie prevented a goal. Alex Karlsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Otto Hernæs made a precise shot to the right of Erik Dalheim. MCFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Erik Dalheim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anders Brunvoll showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 34th minute Arild Markussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Rustad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, MCFC's Erik Dalheim got control of the ball when Alex Karlsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erik Dalheim made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Alex Karlsen sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thomas Rustad was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Eric Langen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eric Langen really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Eric Langen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Rustad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Erik Dalheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Karlsen in the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MCFC's Snorre Brænd got a free kick in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, MCFC's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Hernæs came free, but Erik Dalheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 minutes, Espen Hestad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MCFC and the Tenvik players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, MCFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Espen Hestad to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes MCFC got a freekick which was hit by Iver Otnes. In the 74th minute, Christoffer Aksnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th match minute, Tenvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jostein Åsebø to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Rune Holter managed to get in a good position for a shot. MCFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Holter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Rustad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erik Dalheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Karlsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Brunvoll took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Dalheim. Erik Dalheim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. When the referee ended the match the Tenvik players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
