Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1490, VIP seats: 10) Henrik Nordeide started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Tenvik's Thomas Rustad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arild Markussen in the 3rd minute of play. With a little luck, Tenvik's Thomas Rustad got control of the ball when Eric Langen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thomas Rustad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon-Egil Nerhus in the 8th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Eric Langen could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Thomas Rustad however easily saved by the left post. Erik Dalheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Karlsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Brunvoll in the 15th minute of play forced MCFC's goalkeeper Erik Dalheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind MCFC's goalkeeper Erik Dalheim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Tenvik's Henrik Nordeide nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Dalheim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Erik Dalheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Brunvoll in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, MCFC's Arild Markussen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Rustad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erik Dalheim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrik Nordeide went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 30th match minute, Tenvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Karlsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Anders Brunvoll left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tenvik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 44 minutes into the game, MCFC's Eric Langen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Rustad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 47 minutes into the game, Otto Hernæs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tenvik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MCFC the free kick. In the 47th minute, Otto Hernæs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jon-Egil Nerhus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Eric Langen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Langen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Thomas Rustad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Eric Langen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Rustad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoffer Aksnes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Jon-Egil Nerhus scored 2-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Rustad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the match, MCFC's goalkeeper Erik Dalheim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otto Hernæs. In the 78th minute Jon-Egil Nerhus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Rustad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Rustad came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by MCFC's Jon-Egil Nerhus. But to his dismay, Jon-Egil Nerhus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 83rd minute Arild Markussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Rustad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tenvik's Alex Karlsen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erik Dalheim. That made the score 3-4 after 87 minutes of play. After 90 minutes, Jon-Egil Nerhus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MCFC and the Tenvik players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tenvik booed when MCFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon-Egil Nerhus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Arild Markussen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Rustad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jon-Egil Nerhus in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Rustad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The MCFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tenvik were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
