Dan Liverød showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto Hernæs in the 3rd minute of the match. Thomas Rustad made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Aurelian Stolnicu sent off a good shot on target. If Aurelian Stolnicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Kvisgaard FC booed when Breakdown Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Stolnicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th play minute Aurelian Stolnicu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thomas Rustad. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Kvisgaard FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benjamin Moholt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Kvisgaard FC booed when Breakdown Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilgot Öberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Breakdown Squad's Geir Jespersen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Dan Liverød made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Nordeide in the 35th minute of play. Aurelian Stolnicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelian Stolnicu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Rustad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aurelian Stolnicu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelian Stolnicu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Storm Knoph put in a rough tackle. 52 minutes into the game, one of Breakdown Squad:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Otto Hernæs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Dan Liverød when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dan Liverød showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Nordeide, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Benjamin Moholt scored 4-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Rustad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Nordeide in the 67th minute of play forced Breakdown Squad's goalkeeper Dan Liverød to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Kvisgaard FC defense, Benjamin Moholt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Rustad. The Kvisgaard FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Rustad should have stopped the shot. Thomas Rustad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rune Dahlberg went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Benjamin Moholt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Benjamin Moholt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Breakdown Squad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Moholt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Kvisgaard FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Brunvoll to maneuver through the defense. Kvisgaard FC's Henrik Nordeide got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Breakdown Squad walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
