The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Markus Berglund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Roland Lausbak made a huge save. The supporters of Onsved booed when 12 Monkeys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franz Karms didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Fritz Søhauge managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Onsved's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Søhauge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Markus Berglund struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Roland Lausbak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 12 Monkeys. In the 33rd minute, Markus Berglund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Markus Berglund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Roland Lausbak made a huge save. After having played for 38 minutes, Ditlef Tillisch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 12 Monkeys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ditlef Tillisch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Markus Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lasse Wiingaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aake Kongsrud, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Markus Berglund took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland Lausbak. Roland Lausbak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aake Kongsrud in the 78th minute of play forced 12 Monkeys's goalkeeper Lasse Wiingaard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Markus Berglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Markus Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Lausbak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Markus Berglund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Roland Lausbak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 12 Monkeys walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
