An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Stegaru in the 16th minute of play forced Centru FC's goalkeeper Dragos Ciuche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Özdemir Yatuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tudor Stegaru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dragos Ciuche. Centru FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lilian Pãduret hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Tudor Stegaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Arnoldo Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centru FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Botnaru made a kick off. Centru FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Marius Vataman scored to the left of an out of position Dragos Ciuche, making the score, 0-3. In the 55th match minute, Centru FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Centru FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Vataman came free, but Dragos Ciuche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Centru FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Valera Cernei 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. If Liviu Botnaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Monte Quintarnaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Özdemir Yatuk hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Centru FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Marius Vataman scored to the left of an out of position Dragos Ciuche, making the score, 0-6. In the 81st match minute, Centru FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Botnaru to maneuver through the defense. If Ion Pânzaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dragos Ciuche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valera Cernei in the 86th minute. Ion Pânzaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dragos Ciuche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marius Vataman's late challenge caught a Centru FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marius Vataman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Centru FC booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Vataman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liverpool FC played a much better game than Centru FC and deserved their victory. The Centru FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
