Centru FC's Liviu Botnaru got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dragos Ciuche was a little too slow when Marius Vataman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. 29 minutes into the game, Liverpool FC's Marius Vataman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dragos Ciuche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Centru FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marius Vataman 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Gicu Isai hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Teodor Carp kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Centru FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Botnaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grigore Cotorobai hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marius Vataman to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liviu Botnaru during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Centru FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Botnaru to maneuver through the defense. Radu Cãldare kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Marius Vataman made a precise shot to the right of Dragos Ciuche. Centru FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Arnoldo Ramirez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Monte Quintarnaya when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valera Cernei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Valera Cernei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dragos Ciuche. Centru FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valera Cernei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 83 minutes into the game, Gicu Isai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centru FC the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Gicu Isai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Corjan charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Corjan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes Centru FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Corjan. Tudor Stegaru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dragos Ciuche. Centru FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Ion Pânzaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dragos Ciuche. Centru FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ion Pânzaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. When Marius Vataman came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Liverpool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marius Vataman couldn't finish the play. Dragos Ciuche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valera Cernei in the 98th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Liverpool FC fully deserved thier win.
