But to his dismay, Miladin Kirichev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 11th minute Stratos Kabantais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Jazowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Xarilaou FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Stathis Kapelis hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Miladin Kirichev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignacy Jazowski. Gozilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miladin Kirichev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 20thth minute of the game Kostas Fasoulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gozilla's Ignacy Jazowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Xarilaou FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Stathis Kapelis hit a great ball. Stathis Panagakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kostas Kourmouzis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Xarilaou FC booed when Gozilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stavros Paraschos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandros Anastasiadis kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 30thth minute Stratos Kabantais easily got through Gozilla's defense and fired away a shot, but Ignacy Jazowski leaped left and performed a fabulous save. 33 minutes into the game, Stavros Paraschos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kostas Kourmouzis. Stavros Paraschos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Stratos Kabantais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ignacy Jazowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacy Jazowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Fasoulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Miladin Kirichev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Jazowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Xarilaou FC's Fanis Skaltsas was substituted for Stratos Kabantais. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miladin Kirichev to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Gozilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Gozilla's Ignacy Jazowski got control of the ball when Kostas Fasoulis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute Achilleas Kanavatsos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacy Jazowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Miladin Kirichev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacy Jazowski was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. 66 minutes into the match, Gozilla's Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kostas Kourmouzis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gozilla's Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 70 played minutes Gozilla got a freekick which was hit by Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos. 76 minutes into the match, Gozilla's goal looked a bit too open when Fanis Skaltsas came free, but Ignacy Jazowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stavros Paraschos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kostas Kourmouzis saved Xarilaou FC from getting behind. Ignacy Jazowski made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Miladin Kirichev sent off a good shot on target. 86 minutes into the match, Miladin Kirichev notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Gozilla's Ignacy Jazowski. Ignacy Jazowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xarilaou FC's Kostas Kourmouzis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute, Tasos Bougatsakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
