In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clue Team Challenge 2024's goalkeeper O. M. G. DaRush, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Santos FC's Aaron Smallwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arty Eightman in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th minute Arty Eightman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Smallwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 13 in the game by Arturo Turner from a close distance when the talented O. M. G. DaRush managed to make a qualified save. Clue Team Challenge 2024's players were relieved. In the 17th minute, Arty Eightman made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Smallwood. Santos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Clue Team Challenge 2024's goalkeeper O. M. G. DaRush had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Turner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Turner got free with O. M. G. DaRush in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arty Eightman in the 21st minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Aaron Smallwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arty Eightman in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Smallwood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the game, Arty Eightman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Aaron Smallwood was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. O. M. G. DaRush didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Santos FC's Lanny Gilmore shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Aaron Smallwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arty Eightman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes of play, Clue Team Challenge 2024's Roy Cordu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Smallwood was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Azure Meadow in the 42nd minute of play forced Santos FC's goalkeeper Aaron Smallwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clue Team Challenge 2024 were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Santos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robby The Rancher took the corner. O. M. G. DaRush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lanny Gilmore in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arty Eightman to make the kick off. Arturo Turner scored 2-3 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of O. M. G. DaRush, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clue Team Challenge 2024's Snoop Fiddlefaddle was substituted for Diego Goalzalez. Aaron Smallwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arty Eightman in the 65th minute of the match. Santos FC's attentive Mike Richardson managed to snatch the ball when Rocky Ravine made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. Santos FC's Terence Nicholas was substituted for Tyron Velasquez. The crowd rose to their feet as Clue Team Challenge 2024's Joaquin Fiat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aaron Smallwood. That made the score 2-4 after 81 minutes of play. Aaron Smallwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Fiat, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The supporters of Clue Team Challenge 2024 booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lanny Gilmore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Smallwood made an important save on a dangerous shot by Azure Meadow in the 89th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Azure Meadow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Smallwood. Santos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Azure Meadow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. A collision led to Clue Team Challenge 2024 getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Joaquin Fiat hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-6 when Joaquin Fiat sped through Santos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aaron Smallwood. In the 97th minute Joaquin Fiat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Smallwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clue Team Challenge 2024 played a much better game than Santos FC and deserved their victory. The Santos FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
