The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Kolopetinitsa booed when Abandon All Hope was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamilo Glik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stergios Samartzis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chrisostomos Koutas during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 16 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goal looked a bit too open when Evaggelos Arabatzis came free, but Davi Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwidon Cwojdak struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Stergios Samartzis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abandon All Hope. In the 21st minute, Gwidon Cwojdak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goalkeeper Stergios Samartzis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stasio Orling. After 24 minutes, Evaggelos Arabatzis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kolopetinitsa and the Abandon All Hope players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kolopetinitsa getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Evaggelos Arabatzis hit a great ball. Stergios Samartzis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Cwojdak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Gwidon Cwojdak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stergios Samartzis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwidon Cwojdak in the 28th minute. A collision led to Abandon All Hope getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Stasio Orling hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Orling. Vassilis Karataidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Silva having to interfere. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kolopetinitsa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gwidon Cieslak was slow to take the kick. During this time Abandon All Hope's players had a chance to rest. Stergios Samartzis made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Gwidon Cwojdak sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, Kolopetinitsa's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Cwojdak came free, but Stergios Samartzis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gwidon Cwojdak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stergios Samartzis made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Gwidon Cwojdak sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Gwidon Cwojdak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stergios Samartzis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gwidon Cwojdak in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stergios Samartzis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abandon All Hope were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Kolopetinitsa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gwidon Cieslak took the corner. Klement Pachucki was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Stergios Samartzis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Cwojdak in the 73rd minute of play. If Gwidon Cwojdak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Gwidon Cwojdak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stergios Samartzis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwidon Cwojdak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stergios Samartzis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwidon Cwojdak's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gwidon Cwojdak in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stergios Samartzis saved Kolopetinitsa from getting behind. Stergios Samartzis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwidon Cwojdak's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Abandon All Hope had won after a very even match.
