Abandon All Hope's Davi Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Vargas in the 16th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Vargas came free, but Davi Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Kryspin Robak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAO JOANENSE FC's Amadeu Lamego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Davi Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes, Gwidon Cwojdak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abandon All Hope and the SAO JOANENSE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Abandon All Hope booed when SAO JOANENSE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Dante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Gorzkiewicz lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 68 played minutes Abandon All Hope got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Gorzkiewicz. Carlos Eduardo Toledo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Davi Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAO JOANENSE FC. After a defensive mix-up in Abandon All Hope's zone, Tiago Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davi Silva came out of the goal and Tiago Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisinho Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Silva having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Victor Neicu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abandon All Hope and the SAO JOANENSE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Victor Neicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klement Pachucki fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 95th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Despite being the better team, SAO JOANENSE FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
