Fonda Enterria charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fonda Enterria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Felipe Carballo hit a great ball. Fonda Enterria was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Fonda Enterria kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Sociedad Anónima's Baltazár Sárkány was substituted for Marino Malet.
