Spectators: 7364 (Terracing: 5524, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when German Llorienzo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Cronopio's Apolo Ramirez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmacio Niva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apolo Ramirez in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmacio Niva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. German Llorienzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. German Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dalmacio Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Benito Donio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gavilandia's Dalmacio Niva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dalmacio Niva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Apolo Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Niva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Apolo Ramirez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmacio Niva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 29th minute, Apolo Ramirez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Petrigai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Ladio in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Conrado Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cronopio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Mendez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. German Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dalmacio Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Baldomero Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Niva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After a defensive mix-up in Gavilandia's zone, German Llorienzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Niva came out of the goal and German Llorienzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conrado Mendez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 53rd playminute. Apolo Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dalmacio Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Savier in the 62nd minute of play forced Gavilandia's goalkeeper Dalmacio Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Baldomero Savier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cronopio's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Savier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Niva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cronopio's Apolo Ramirez pulled a muscle in his back after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Eleuterio Alonso's late challenge caught a Cronopio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Alonso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gavilandia getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Eleuterio Alonso hit a great ball. Cronopio's Conrado Mendez shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dalmacio Niva but with some difficulty. If German Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Llorienzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Gavilandia's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Mendez came free, but Dalmacio Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Sol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Niva having to interfere. Baldomero Savier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Dalmacio Niva made a huge save. Edgardo Sol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dalmacio Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Savier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmacio Niva having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Edgardo Sol took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Dalmacio Niva to make any attempt to save it. Cronopio's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
