With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Urdaspal in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mariano Semeno saved Gavilandia from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gavilandia's Aureliano Domiku got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Lisandro Pepillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Defensores del Acha could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gavilandia throughout the match.
