Bannemin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Halil Flüß was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Bannemin's goal looked a bit too open when Halil Flüß came free, but Gerrit Zurcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bannemin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ludwig Braunfels was slow to take the kick. During this time Gösloh's players had a chance to rest. Gerrit Zurcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karsten Eichel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Elia Hüter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörg Schmitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gerrit Zurcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bannemin's Gerrit Zurcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörg Schmitt in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Bannemin's goal looked a bit too open when Jörg Schmitt came free, but Gerrit Zurcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Achim Neuschwander hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Karsten Eichel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Zurcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerrit Zurcher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karsten Eichel went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jörg Schmitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerrit Zurcher having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Bannemin's goal looked a bit too open when Jörg Schmitt came free, but Gerrit Zurcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Spickenreither sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karsten Eichel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Elsner hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. The Bannemin players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gösloh were winning 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karsten Eichel to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Hugo Schlottmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gösloh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bannemin the free kick. A collision led to Gösloh getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hugo Schlottmann hit a great ball. In the 56th minute of the match Achim Neuschwander sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valerius Engel skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Emiliano Spickenreither's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valerius Engel was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Bannemin's Gerrit Zurcher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Bannemin from getting a goal against them. Jörg Schmitt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerrit Zurcher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Gösloh's Jörg Schmitt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerrit Zurcher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 70th match minute, Bannemin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Kunger to maneuver through the defense. Jörg Schmitt struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Gerrit Zurcher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gösloh. After a defensive mix-up in Bannemin's zone, Karsten Eichel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerrit Zurcher came out of the goal and Karsten Eichel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the game, Emiliano Spickenreither cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Valerius Engel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Bannemin's Benjamin Elsner got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Jörg Schmitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes, Gösloh's Ludwig Braunfels shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerrit Zurcher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gösloh reached it. If Jörg Schmitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karsten Eichel struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Gerrit Zurcher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gösloh. Gösloh's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
