instant match/challenge

just curious what is the point of this? i keep getting them and ive no idea why. there seems to be no monetary value to them and im confused .com also tad pissed it must be said but i can understand that :-)just curious what is the point of this?

People have used them against me to find out what tactics/formation I use before they play me in a competitive game. The results have been quite baffling at times, losing the challenge 5-0 but winning the competitive match 5-0. This was in hockey and I didn't change my tactics. It's just another side to the completely inactive sim that work the hockey matches lol... Like when scotland beat germany we had 7 shot and scored 5, germany had 23 shots and scored 2 but then I lost to macedonia ?? How confusing. Also I got beat 3-2 by Iblocha's bear's even thou they are the Scottish champions and are 65th in the Hockey world. I was nearly close to beating his first team and my team is a bit poor at the moment!!It's just another side to the completely inactive sim that work the hockey matches lol...
