Retired & Discarded Players

Me again, two things. 1. What is a 'retiring player transfer window' exactly? 2. When I discard a player because I am not patient enough to sell them, what happens to these players. Do they disappear forever? Are they available somewhere or does the system recycle them to youth players again?Me again, two things.

It used to be that retired players came back at the club as ambassadors... haven't had that in a while, maybe some CREW can look into this and roll the system...
