Team Dynamics

In real life the sudden inclusion of new players in a line-up does not always reap results as players take time to familiarise themselves with the attributes, style of play etc. of the new additions.

Does the sim recognise the influence of these team dynamics? If I had to replace 2 or 3 players with others that are better in the vast majority of skills, but new to the team, will team performance definitely improve?

I agree that there should be no effect on the sim.

But on the other hand I have noticed when a few new players arrives first games is hard and after about the week or more everything stabilizes.

But maybe I am wrong, it`s just my experience :)

It should only affect your results positively bringing in new “better” players but I’ve also noticed as mentioned above that this isn’t always the case. Sometimes I’ve noticed a better player (statistically) actually regularly performing worse than the previous player sold. This is why I’m a big believer “hidden stats” do indeed exist. That’s a whole other topic on this though.

There was a concept talked about that you should not replace keeper half way through a season as the new one always underperforms. But tbh I’m not a stats geek so wouldn’t have a clue!

I've noticed this too and agree re:hidden stats. But it's not backed up by stats.
