Traning efficiancy with coaches?

Badge image
Hi there!

So, I am trying to min-max my expenses on coaches. Thus I wonder: Lets say I have a youth player with 4 balls in shooting....will he benefit more from a coach with 10 balls in shooting compared to one with 6 (or at least more than the player has in the mentioned skill)?

thx in advance!

I usually try to get the most value for my cash with coaches. Any coach will improve the training speed of a player under them. The higher class coaches provide a bigger benefit, but the boost is not so great that it necessarily offsets the increase coach's salary. For my youth I usually go with 3 star coaches or slide down a 4 star from the senior side if he's not training anyone at the moment.

I've been experimenting with a 5 star keeping coach to see if he makes a bigger impact on my keeper candidates. Haven't taken a look at it lately, but the difference from a 4 star coach didn't seem to be that great in the first few weeks. Maybe an extra segment every few days, but not consistently training at a higher rate.

More specifically to your question: a coach with more balls in a skill that the player should provide a bigger boost than one with fewer. I believe that the greater the difference the more effective the coach was used to be the way things worked, but I'm not 100% certain it still is.

Ok, so a coach with 7 more balls than the player in a skill will benefit the player more than a coach with 5 more in that same skill. Good to know. Thanks!

Yes :) or there would be no point having top coaches

Also, will more players training the same skill reduce the training effect for each player?

No, a coach can influence up to 5 players on a skill for seniors and 6 for youth players. It will not decrease training efficiency of any player by having up to these numbers

Ok, one last question about coaches. What matters more? If both a class B and a class A has 9 balls in shooting. Will the players benefit more from the class A coach? Or will it be the same effect. It sounds plausible that the latter is true due to being more expensive, however that could be because they have more balls in more skills.

Same effect. The difference between A and B will likely be that A Coach has multiple high skills where B might only have the one really high skill. Basically A has more balls but if you don’t need a multi skilled coach you’re wasting your money
