Coaching players

My keeper is at 9 balls. He's 20yo. Not sure on training speed as he was an original player of mine I think.

So I've noticed since he hit 9 balls keeping his training speed is going nowhere.

Is it worth getting a 10 ball keeper coach just to train him to 10 balls. Or would he eventually hit 10 balls anyway? Just slower?

I can bring a 10 ball keeper coach in for around 7.5k a week.

You are asking a question that has a double answer:

- A player will train much better if you put him with a coach, and even more if he has 10 in that skill.

- Eventually, even without a coach, the player will reach 10 in that skill, but it will be slower than with a coach.

Coaches can be hired for round weeks, then what you can do is fire him, but you will have to pay him compensation proportional to the time he is missing.

Just clarifying- “going nowhere” he is still training though and not maxed on 9 keeping?

Yeah he's still training. Although it seems very slow and his progress bar isn't increasing.

Thank you for this brother.

I suppose my question was. If I train him without a coach. Will it take say 2 seasons for him to pop to 10? Whereas with a coach he could pop in half a season.

I suppose I should test it.

Even a nine ball class b coach would help him and be significantly cheaper. Any coach, even one with lower or the same skill as the player will improve training speed over no coach at all.

With a level 9 ball coach in keeping. Hes training a little harder. 5 green segments instead of 2 now.

Hes also hit his first increment on progress bar.

So he'll be 10 soon enough.

Probably be my starting keeper for next 10 seasons :-)
