Next time the Sim is updated please, please, PLEASE stop players from passing when they are in a clear goalscoring opportunity and please stop them from passing all the way back to the defence from attacking positions.
I am not Arsene Wenger, so I do not approve of this!

They need to stop with the bullshit scores of 11-0 or higher. I see teams getting beat in my league by a score of 13-0. I'm here training my players, playing more matches to get the "experience balls" and buying top notch players and losing 3-1 or 1-0.. BS i tell you

Yup, passing back in clear one-on-one position is horrible. ;p
I would add:
- header passes almost 100% reliable, much better than regular passes
- defenders somewhat always trying to overrun opposing forwards from a wrong side, covering/marking should be more important for defenders than getting to the ball at all costs

OK now something really funny to the list:
- almost 100% of aerial passes go DIRECTLY to opponents, just astonishing precision ;)

Probably poor aerial passing means passing directly to opponent instead of a team member. :)
Majority of my plyers have poor aerial passing. Still funny.

nerrev :
I could understand your comment if and only if my tactic was infact wing tactic using crossballs towards my forwards who have high heading capabilities. Sadly this is not my preferred tactic, this is why i have made my team a passing team, simply because i do not have a player with less that 7 passing attributes in my team. So my question would be why does almost every forward pass is lofted towards a def?
Why cant the SIM understand that my tactic is passing ?
Why cant the SIM USE my strength not weakness?
Why would my midfielders/continually miss passes to team mates right next to them ?
Why is it that no matter which game you watch wether it be your team or another team its the same scenario? Surely a team with high player values means higher player quality ? this doesnt seem to be happening, i can play a team in 5th div Australia and i would get the same stupid passing, same ridiculous kick outs directly to opposition players, as i would get playing an A league team . I dont know about you but i would be thinking if Man U playing list is valued at let say 200million is playing a team from 5th div Thailand worth 1 million, would you think the thai would score ? would you think Man U players would continually pass the ball directly to the opposition ? would you think Man Us goalkeeper would kick directly to the opposition 10 out of 10 times ?
And just 1 more thing would Rooney pass back to midfield when in a scoring position IE 1 on 1 with the keeper ???? NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS
It has nothing to with abilities, simply because no matter what you do, who you play, what tactic you use THE SIM USES only 1 and thats the STUPID ONE
Its supposed to simulate ???? simulate what dumb ass footballers with no intelligence . Dumb ass midfielders who pass to a forward that has 2 defenders on him instead of the 1 striker right in front of him on his own?.
If it happens once a game you can understand BUT every game almost every forward passing sequence? nah mate its a stupid sim .
Ill continue to play it simply because im a glutton for frustrating pain, and yes if you have seen it all there will allways be something more rediculous around the corner .

Well, I don't say it is good I just laugh a bit of it. I think it is important to realize that poor aerial passing leads to direct passes to opponents. I have seen recently a funny match where someone put all his defenders and midfields on the sidelines of the pitch, no one in the middle and still his goalkeeper kicked out just to the middle directly to one of his 5 opponents. :)
Hopefully one day they will change it all a bit.
Still I somewhat like watching matches. ;p

one wonders what we would do if we could talk to these players .
Manager to keeper ( any chance you could kick the ball to a player in YOUR team ?)
Manager to 1.3million $$ midfielder (if i knew you would continue to loft the ball directly to a def and totaly miss your team mate on his own, i wouldnt have bothered paying 1.3 mill) .
Manager to striker (mate if you are in a scoring position with only the keeper to beat please dont pass back to the midfielder who will then loft the ball directly to the opposition)
Makes me laugh.

This has been an issue since 2005/2006. Before then it wasn't an issue. Since then it's been "fixed" in every update.
The best thing to do with this sim is to stop it's development and start a brand new sim from scratch. Maybe then we can have realistic corners, realistic set plays, players making slide tackles, through balls, etc. One can dream.

Your argument is good, the wing tactic is
ridiculous most efficient!
4-3-3 playing in the middle, you can stop the tatica wing
