Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reinar Stegger started the match with the kick off. Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Unesson in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klas Unesson got free with Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Klas Unesson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt having to make a save. Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Klas Unesson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt having to make a save. Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Unesson in the 9th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Klas Unesson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Klas Unesson sent off a good shot on target. Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Unesson in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Georg Lyngskjold. Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Folke Nordal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinar Stegger in the 28th minute of the match. Sweden's Klas Unesson got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klas Unesson. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denmark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven-Arne Olofsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Sweden's players had a chance to rest. In the 39th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Lyngskjold to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Sweden's goal looked a bit too open when Reinar Stegger came free, but Folke Nordal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Klas Unesson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Klas Unesson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Klas Unesson let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 44th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Klas Unesson made the kick off in the second half. Reinar Stegger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingmar Granqvist in the 63rd minute of play. Sweden's Simone Stål was substituted for Ingmar Granqvist. Sweden's Stefan Lundkvist was substituted for Boris Felin. A nice corner shot did that Sven-Arne Olofsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jesper Åkerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Åkerberg in the 68th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Sweden's goalkeeper Folke Nordal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinar Stegger. Jesper Åkerberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesper Åkerberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesper Åkerberg in the 74th minute of play. Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesper Åkerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jesper Åkerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Åkerberg in the 79th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesper Åkerberg in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt saved Denmark from getting behind. If Jesper Åkerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm von Gyldenfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesper Åkerberg in the 87th minute of play. If Jesper Åkerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
