Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Robert Šedina got the match started through his kick off. Denmark's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiří Skrbek in the 4th minute of play. Nils Elmhuus came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Czech Republic's Jiří Skrbek. But to his dismay, Jiří Skrbek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Šedina in the 7th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Nils Elmhuus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Maxsø to maneuver through the defense. Denmark's Nils Elmhuus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stehno in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Svend Betz could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Pavel Hanka however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 16 minutes, Robert Šedina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czech Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Šedina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svend Betz in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pavel Hanka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nils Elmhuus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Stehno in the 23rd minute of the match. Pavel Hanka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley White in the 28th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Rana came free, but Pavel Hanka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Ulbak. After the first half Czech Republic were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Svend Betz made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Jiří Skrbek notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Denmark's Nils Elmhuus. Nils Elmhuus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute Svend Betz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Hanka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Hanka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rana in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley White in the 63rd minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Pavel Hanka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boleslav Lacko kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Czech Republic's Radim Zadina was substituted for Miroslav Mikeš. Czech Republic's Pavel Hanka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Rana in the 67th minute of play. Pavel Hanka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rana in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Stanley White got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denmark made a substitution. Ricki Dresager replaced Svend Betz. Denmark's Ditlev Delmont was substituted for Martin Rana. 80 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Ricki Dresager came free, but Pavel Hanka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Stanley White ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pavel Hanka was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Jiří Skrbek succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. In the 93rd minute, Ricki Dresager made a precise shot to the right of Pavel Hanka. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The Denmark supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Czech Republic's performance. The match ended with a win for Czech Republic.
