MLS

First, I would like to apologize if you are not reading this article after round 11.  I set the table up as a widget so it will update as matches are played and may not reflect the current standings discussed below.

As evidence of the above concept, here is the start of the article I started to write after round 7: New England Minas are clearly making the most of their return to the top division, currently sitting top of the table above last year's second and third place finishers EL LOBO DE MIAMI and BUITRES FC. They are currently the only remaining unbeaten team with 6 wins and a draw. EL LOBO DE MIAMI sit one point behind having lost only once in their first seven matches, a 0-6 thumping at the hands of New England Minas.

After round 11 there has been a slight reordering of the top three with New England Minas suffering a defeat in round 9 to McHutio FC.  They also dropped points in round 8 and 10, drawing with River Plate DB 1-1 and St. Clair FC 4-4 in a lively affair in which St. Clair FC battled back from a 4-2 deficit in the final minutes despite having Lucas Nykvist sent off in the 17th minute.

EL LOBO DE MIAMI went on a run, losing only once in round 10 to River Plate DB, but winning the rest of it's matches to this point to take the top spot.

At the bottom of the table, Casino Royale, Real Salt Lake☆★, and Santos are all having difficulty finding their form of last season.  All finished out of the relegation playoff spots with the most surprising drop being Santos FC who were in fourth at the conclusion of Season 49.
