Potential raise in maximum asking price

26-10-2017 14:00

A while ago we decided to raise the maximum asking price in hockey from 3 to 8 times the player value, after requests from several of our users. We have not noticed any negative impact on the hockey transfer market due to this update, and now we are considering to do a similar change in football.

The reason for the initial change in hockey was that the maximum asking price did not reflect the market value of many players, especially the ones above average. Hopefully a change can encourage more managers to put out their players on the transfer market, if they know that they are guaranteed more money for their player, instead of having to risk to get less than they hoped for.

Now it's up to you to decide about the potential change
We have opened up a poll in the ManagerZone Federation that will be running for 7 days, and now it is up to you to decide about the change.

Choose between the following options:
1. No change from today = 3 times the player value
2. Change to 5 times the player value
3. Change to 8 times the player value

Head over to the ManagerZone Federation and place your vote:

In addition to the poll, we have opened up a topic in the English Forum, where you can share your opinion as well. Both the federation poll and the thoughts in the forum will be taken into consideration when making the decision.

Note: Additional changes related to the asking price update might be done in the future, after analyzing the result of this change.
