The latest Federations League season has now concluded, and the Elite Division once again gave us two campaigns full of pressure, momentum swings and narrow margins. In football, Allstars Sverige rose above the chasing pack with a perfect season, while hockey saw Federacion Argentina Unida set the pace from start to finish. Both champions finished unbeaten, but behind them the battle for podium places and survival was anything but straightforward.
Football review
Allstars Sverige claimed the football Federations League title in commanding fashion, completing the season with eleven wins from eleven clashes and a perfect 33 points. With 648 Tie Breaker Points, they also finished just ahead of their closest challenger in that column, underlining a campaign built on both consistency and strength. Drastic Clan pushed them the whole way and secured second place after a very impressive season of their own, winning ten of eleven and ending on 30 points. Behind them, FIQ - Federação dos Incríveis Quebrados and [FEDERACIÓN RIVER PLATE] both finished on 21 points, with FIQ taking third place thanks to a higher Tie Breaker total. The middle of the table was tightly packed, with several federations separated by only a few points, making every clash important all the way down to the final rounds.
Hockey review
Federacion Argentina Unida captured the hockey Federations League title after a flawless run through the Elite Division. Eleven wins from eleven clashes gave them a perfect 33 points. ZHL Maraton followed in second place with 30 points after ten wins and just one defeat, keeping the pressure on the leaders throughout the season. Federatia Romana de Hockey pe Gheata, MZ Hockey España and Confederação Brasileira all ended on 24 points, but the Romanian federation claimed third place thanks to the strongest Tie Breaker total among the trio. The final table showed just how competitive the division was below the top two, with several teams fighting closely for position while Federacion Argentina Unida stood firm at the summit.
