Federation League Review

14-05-2025 14:00

We are seeing a changing of the guards in the football Elite Division. Swedish Elite, who have been the dominant federation for so long, slipped all the way down to fifth this time. Allstars Sverige meanwhile, have now won three straight seasons. In hockey, ZHL Marathon is back to their winning ways.

Football review

In an unbelievably stellar display of form, Allstars Sverige surged to a 9 point win, something which is rarely seen in the usually tense Elite Division. They cruised to eleven straight victories, which federation founder and president benne must be incredibly proud of. Fratres in 2nd, Federació Valenciana de ManagerZone in 3rd (climbing to the podium for the first time!), and Fenerbahçe - Türkiye in 4th all landed on 24 points.

Hockey review
ZHL Maraton has repeated the feat from season 83.1 and once again climbed to the top of the Elite Division. It all came down to the April 18 clash against Sudden Death which finished 50-46 in Marathons favor. A victory which ensured that they went through the entire season with all victories, finishing three points ahead of Sudden Death, who finished 2nd just like last season. Last season's winners MZ Hockey España finished in 3rd this time around, while Timo no te Tima finished 4th for the second time in a row.
