After a rather tough play, U21 Georgia's Roland Milakiev got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Valeri Zabelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Sozzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, U21 Liechtenstein's Tobias Schlegel got control of the ball when Emran Qartvelishvili tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sachino Goraniskov in the 42nd minute of play forced U21 Liechtenstein's goalkeeper Tobias Schlegel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sachino Goraniskov might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Schlegel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, U21 Georgia's Valeri Zabelin got control of the ball when Patrick Hanselmann tried to sneak it across the goal line.
