Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wahyu Dermawan started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Trinidad & Tobago's Austin Eve got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Porman Suprianto came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Permanand Fry could save by the left post. In the 11th minute of the match, Wahyu Dermawan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Permanand Fry saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 13 minutes into the match, Trinidad & Tobago's goal looked a bit too open when Wahyu Dermawan came free, but Permanand Fry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Malaysia's Wahyu Dermawan in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trinidad & Tobago's goalie prevented a goal. Permanand Fry was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Porman Suprianto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Porman Suprianto really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Trinidad & Tobago's Permanand Fry proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Trinidad & Tobago from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute Wahyu Dermawan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Permanand Fry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joshua Cahyono Putro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dansam Gift in the 29th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes Malaysia got a freekick which was hit by Bulek Idris. 33 minutes into the match, Trinidad & Tobago's goalkeeper Permanand Fry had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bulek Idris. Permanand Fry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bulek Idris, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Bulek Idris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Permanand Fry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Permanand Fry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wahyu Dermawan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Trinidad & Tobago's Permanand Fry got control of the ball when Wahyu Dermawan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bulek Idris's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Permanand Fry skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Austin Eve made the kick off in the second half. Wahyu Dermawan took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Permanand Fry. Permanand Fry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Bulek Idris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trinidad & Tobago's goalkeeper Permanand Fry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Austin Eve kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joshua Cahyono Putro. That made the score 3-1 in the 60 minute of play. When Dansam Gift fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trinidad & Tobago's protests and gave Dansam Gift a yellow card for diving instead. Dansam Gift hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Trinidad & Tobago's Permanand Fry tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Trinidad & Tobago's goal looked a bit too open when Bulek Idris came free, but Permanand Fry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Permanand Fry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Budi Sinuhaji in the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Mario Sembiring managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malaysia's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Sembiring was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Permanand Fry breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matthew Samuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Malaysia's Bulek Idris got a free kick in the 77th minute. Dansam Gift could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Joshua Cahyono Putro made a huge save. In the 82nd minute Budi Sinuhaji shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Permanand Fry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prophet Benjamin kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Trinidad & Tobago defense, Budi Sinuhaji kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Permanand Fry. The Trinidad & Tobago fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Permanand Fry should have stopped the shot. Malaysia's Joshua Cahyono Putro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Malaysia from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the game, Budi Sinuhaji cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Permanand Fry was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Malaysia were the better team. Malaysia's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
