Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gordon Aigner took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Slovenia's goal looked a bit too open when Bernhard De Vogel came free, but Žolt Narobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Žolt Narobe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Hautot in the 6th minute of the match. Žolt Narobe made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Gordon Aigner sent off a good shot on target. Austria's Björn Vanek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Forti Skender in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe Strunck in the 9th minute of play forced Slovenia's goalkeeper Žolt Narobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Austria's Björn Vanek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matko Anžlovar in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernhard De Vogel in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Žolt Narobe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Slovenia's Žolt Narobe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Aigner in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tim Schottler in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Björn Vanek saved Austria from getting behind. Žolt Narobe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Hautot in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Austria got a corner. Slovenia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bernhard De Vogel ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Austria's corner Uwe Strunck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Žolt Narobe quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Austria booed when Slovenia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Kutnjak didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Slovenia's goalkeeper Žolt Narobe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gordon Aigner. Björn Vanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Forti Skender, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Žolt Narobe came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Austria's Gordon Aigner. But to his dismay, Gordon Aigner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Žolt Narobe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernhard De Vogel in the 39th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Bernhard De Vogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Žolt Narobe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Forti Skender blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Björn Vanek having to make a save. Žolt Narobe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gordon Aigner in the 48th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tim Schottler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Žolt Narobe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Aigner in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimir Lukanc in the 63rd minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Björn Vanek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe Strunck in the 65th minute of play forced Slovenia's goalkeeper Žolt Narobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Slovenia's goal looked a bit too open when Bernhard De Vogel came free, but Žolt Narobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slovenia made a substitution. Timo Werner replaced Tim Schottler. Slovenia made a substitution. Elmin Kokot replaced Vit Jus. In the 74th match minute, Slovenia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimir Lukanc to maneuver through the defense. Lars Opfermann took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Žolt Narobe. Slovenia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 76th minute Bernhard De Vogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Žolt Narobe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Slovenia's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Opfermann came free, but Žolt Narobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Jonas Hautot left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Austria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Austria's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
