Stepan Firago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogumil Niedziela, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Poland's Bogumil Niedziela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stepan Firago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vladimir Razuvaichyk's late challenge caught a Poland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stepan Firago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Belarus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stepan Firago should have stopped the shot. Poland's Cyryl Wodaszak was substituted for Walery Ochabski. Tristan Lannister could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Stepan Firago made a huge save. Cyryl Wodaszak in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stepan Firago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Poland fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Poland's Cyryl Wodaszak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Poland eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
