The throw-in from Enar Suviste in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sweden's Benny Stolle. Mark Kikerpill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrik Danielsson in the 35th minute of the match. Mark Kikerpill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Holger Hvidegaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 39th minute Ulrik Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Kikerpill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sweden eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
