Thailand's Wattana Karahkul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Thailand from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanabodee Banwimol in the 12th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Percy Ivey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Canada's Papillion Proctor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wattana Karahkul. Wattana Karahkul yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krystian Żmuda got free with Wattana Karahkul in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgilio Courtney made a great header on Canada's corner, it was just that Thailand's Wattana Karahkul managed to reach the ball for a save. Percy Ivey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anuchart Klaychim in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siriboon Phrommakaew in the 24th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Percy Ivey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gökdeniz Karadeniz to make the kick off. Krystian Żmuda ran back to his position shaking his head. Wattana Karahkul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krystian Żmuda in the 66th minute of play. When Krystian Żmuda came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Canada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krystian Żmuda couldn't finish the play. Canada made a substitution. Cletus Fairchild replaced Eli Stoddard. Canada's Travis Dixon was substituted for Zachariah Lockhart. In the 70th minute, Krystian Żmuda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Canada's goalkeeper Percy Ivey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siriboon Phrommakaew. Wattana Karahkul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krystian Żmuda in the 90th minute of the match. Canada were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Thailand for a fine match.
