The Albania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Engjëll Kllogjëri should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santi Kuci got free with Uğurcan Çakır in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Barış Altunışık's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Engjëll Kllogjëri was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Engjëll Kllogjëri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlhami Ülkü, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Turkey's goal looked a bit too open when Kozma Hasa came free, but Uğurcan Çakır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isak Sokoli got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Santi Kuci. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barış Altunışık made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Turkey got a corner. Albania's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zeynel Zeyni ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zeynel Zeyni made a great header on Turkey's corner, it was just that Albania's Engjëll Kllogjëri managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Turkey booed when Albania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isak Sokoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Engjëll Kllogjëri was a little too slow when Barış Altunışık got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-2. Uğurcan Çakır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dritan Divjaka in the 70th minute of play. Albania's Engjëll Kllogjëri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Albania from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Santi Kuci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uğurcan Çakır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Engjëll Kllogjëri didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. Engjëll Kllogjëri made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Gürhan Süphan sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Aldo Serena could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Engjëll Kllogjëri however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gürhan Süphan got free with Engjëll Kllogjëri in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute Hüsmen Acaroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Engjëll Kllogjëri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Engjëll Kllogjëri made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Aldo Serena sent off a good shot on target. Engjëll Kllogjëri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hüsmen Acaroğlu in the 94th minute. Engjëll Kllogjëri came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Turkey's Aldo Serena. But to his dismay, Aldo Serena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Albania's Eri Perla was substituted for Kozma Hasa.
