Spectators: 1028 (Terracing: 772, Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) Isidoro Vilalobos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The Portugal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Sales got free with Garibaldo Jimenez in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute, Americo Leyva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garibaldo Jimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Dalmai Feal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Xacobo Abrego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Vilalobos might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garibaldo Jimenez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Vilalobos ran back to his position shaking his head. Garibaldo Jimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Vilalobos in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Lucila Gene mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Spain and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isidoro Vilalobos did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Garibaldo Jimenez 37 minutes into the match. Spain's Garibaldo Jimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Vilalobos in the 42nd minute of play. Spain's Lucila Gene managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sabino Lencastre in the 45 minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmai Feal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Isidoro Vilalobos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garibaldo Jimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garibaldo Jimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Vilalobos in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Narciso Pabon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Spain made a substitution. Jaime Cuadrado replaced Feliz Roig. Portugal made a substitution. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Ferreira took the corner. The corner ended in Celso Calado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Spain's Garibaldo Jimenez did a great save. Garibaldo Jimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Nunes in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Eskuin Gonzáles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spain's supporters rose to their feet, but Eskuin Gonzáles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Cuadrado in the 82nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Amado Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Portugal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
