U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Permanand Fry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Bernat in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Trinidad & Tobago's zone, Jonathan Gar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Permanand Fry came out of the goal and Jonathan Gar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After taking down the ball on U21 Argentina's corner Lisandro Sesuldo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Permanand Fry quite easily take care of the ball. After 56 played minutes, U21 Argentina's Ezequiel Quexal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Permanand Fry came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U21 Argentina reached it. With a little luck, U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Permanand Fry got control of the ball when Beto Alonso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedicto Naelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Permanand Fry having to make a save. Permanand Fry was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Ariel Zárate capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ariel Zárate really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Mauro Sauveur came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Trinidad & Tobago's Rex Morrison. But to his dismay, Rex Morrison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. After 91 played minutes U21 Trinidad & Tobago got a freekick which was hit by Rex Morrison. 92 minutes into the match, U21 Trinidad & Tobago's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Bernat came free, but Permanand Fry reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Permanand Fry made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Zárate in the 93rd minute. After some careless play in the U21 Trinidad & Tobago defense, Ariel Zárate kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Permanand Fry. The U21 Trinidad & Tobago fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Permanand Fry should have stopped the shot. U21 Argentina's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
