Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Salah Al Sarraf made the kick off which started today's match. Cristoval Quimpo hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Riad Al Besher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aga Ruffy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jassem Al Ansari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clifford Callangan in the 11th minute. U21 Kuwait's Jassem Al Ansari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Mamot in the 19th minute of play. Jassem Al Ansari was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Isaac Mamot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. A collision led to U21 Philippines getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rolly Linsangan hit a great ball. Isaac Mamot struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jassem Al Ansari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Philippines. Aga Ruffy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaher Al Sohali, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a little luck, U21 Kuwait's Jassem Al Ansari got control of the ball when Clifford Callangan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aga Ruffy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salah Al Sarraf went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clifford Callangan got free with Jassem Al Ansari in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Salah Al Sarraf came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the U21 Kuwait fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salah Al Sarraf couldn't finish the play. U21 Kuwait's Jassem Al Ansari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Mamot in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Clifford Callangan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolly Linsangan's late challenge caught a U21 Kuwait's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolly Linsangan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to U21 Philippines getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rolly Linsangan hit a great ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Philippines's goalkeeper Aga Ruffy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Salah Al Sarraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Mamot was the one to do the kick off. Sonnymar Langkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jassem Al Ansari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, U21 Kuwait's Salah Al Sarraf ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aga Ruffy. Aga Ruffy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. U21 Kuwait made a substitution. Gawhar Al Zamel replaced Riad Al Besher. In the 64th minute Gawhar Al Zamel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aga Ruffy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aga Ruffy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salah Al Sarraf in the 67th minute of the match. Sayed Al Youha kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Clifford Callangan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jassem Al Ansari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Mamot in the 82nd minute of play forced U21 Kuwait's goalkeeper Jassem Al Ansari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Isaac Mamot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Philippines's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Mamot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gawhar Al Zamel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Aga Ruffy made a huge save. Jassem Al Ansari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Earl Quiambaw went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
