Ludvík Vidlák might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aðalbergur Styrmisson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludvík Vidlák ran back to his position shaking his head. Ími Gestsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Lukáš Grulich skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice moves Ími Gestsson could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Lukáš Grulich however easily saved by the left post. In the 95th minute, Ími Gestsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The U21 Iceland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. U21 Czech Republic's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
