Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jokūbas Dovydauskas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Martynas Jaras made in the 3rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mantvydas Jakniūnas immediately put the ball in play. U21 Sweden's August Olausson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Martynas Jaras in the 7 minute of the game. 8 minutes into the match, Gus Savage notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of U21 Lithuania's Robertas Radavičius. Robertas Radavičius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. U21 Sweden's Kjell Hernström pulled a muscle in his leg after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 16 minutes, Martynas Jaras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Lithuania and the U21 Sweden players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martynas Jaras hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Martynas Jaras got a throw-in 25 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mantvydas Jakniūnas. 27 minutes into the match, U21 Lithuania's goal looked a bit too open when Gus Savage came free, but Robertas Radavičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viktor Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jokūbas Dovydauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 43 minutes into the game, U21 Sweden's Slobodan Heaton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robertas Radavičius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Robertas Radavičius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gus Savage went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The wind increased when Gus Savage made the kick off in the second half. Gus Savage could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Robertas Radavičius made a huge save. Gus Savage's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Robertas Radavičius firmly grabbed it by the left post. 64 minutes into the match, U21 Sweden's goal looked a bit too open when Jokūbas Dovydauskas came free, but Viktor Blomkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes U21 Sweden got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Browall. A collision led to U21 Sweden getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gus Savage hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Justinas Pilvinis threw the ball into play from the sideline. U21 Sweden's August Olausson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gus Savage's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robertas Radavičius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to U21 Sweden getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ulf Ström hit a great ball. Justinas Pilvinis made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mantvydas Jakniūnas immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mantvydas Jakniūnas in the 83rd minute of play forced U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Viktor Blomkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robertas Radavičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gus Savage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Gus Savage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes U21 Lithuania's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andreas Söderström who took care of the corner kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. U21 Sweden had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
