Aang Pitono was slow to take the kick. During this time Indonesia's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Indonesia's corner Aang Pitono fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Engjëll Kllogjëri quite easily take care of the ball. Haji Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 10th minute. Nertil Ramos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haji Sarap having to make a save. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nertil Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Alam Baka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Engjëll Kllogjëri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehat Kovaçi got free with Haji Sarap in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Alam Baka came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Indonesia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alam Baka couldn't finish the play. Alam Baka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Engjëll Kllogjëri having to make a save. Engjëll Kllogjëri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alam Baka in the 32nd minute of the match. If Aang Pitono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Alam Baka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albania's Engjëll Kllogjëri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Engjëll Kllogjëri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alam Baka in the 43rd minute of play. Mehat Kovaçi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haji Sarap came out and tried to block the shot, but Mehat Kovaçi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alam Baka was the one to do the kick off. Engjëll Kllogjëri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alam Baka in the 57th minute. Alam Baka might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Engjëll Kllogjëri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alam Baka ran back to his position shaking his head. After 86 played minutes Albania got a freekick which was hit by Isak Sokoli. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Arvin Sutrisna sped through Albania's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Engjëll Kllogjëri. The Indonesia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
