Enrique Enoch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Silverio Medardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Enoch was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. U21 Argentina's Arturo Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liberto Asendegui in the 20th minute of play. The throw-in from Robustiano Gaur in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Chile's Emilio Felipe Palmer. Enrique Enoch came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Argentina's Silverio Medardo. But to his dismay, Silverio Medardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Juan Arias hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Enrique Enoch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Arturo Balendin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Liberto Asendegui's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Santiago Simon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Enrique Enoch made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Liberto Asendegui made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute Silverio Medardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Enoch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 minutes U21 Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonas Firmo who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Dionisio Eguntsenti got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Enrique Enoch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liberto Asendegui in the 64th minute of play forced U21 Argentina's goalkeeper Arturo Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Thomas scored 4-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enrique Enoch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. U21 Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
