Spectators: 1028 (Terracing: 772, Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) Al Brewer scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wattana Karahkul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Al Brewer might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wattana Karahkul. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Al Brewer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10th minute Al Brewer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wattana Karahkul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stewart Thomas stood somewhat misplaced when Tanabodee Banwimol came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 12 minute. In the 16th minute, Al Brewer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Australia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Darin Prior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Wattana Karahkul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Australia's Stewart Thomas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tananan Makeh in the 21st minute of play. When Kittipong Poolsawat fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thailand's protests and gave Kittipong Poolsawat a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Thailand getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Kittipong Poolsawat hit a great ball. Tanabodee Banwimol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Thomas having to interfere. Al Brewer took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wattana Karahkul. Wattana Karahkul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Tananan Makeh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Tawat Chaiprakhon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stewart Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Al Brewer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wattana Karahkul having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Al Brewer in the 36th minute of play forced Thailand's goalkeeper Wattana Karahkul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kittipong Poolsawat got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tanabodee Banwimol. Al Brewer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thailand's Wattana Karahkul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darin Prior in the 42nd minute of play. Tanabodee Banwimol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Thomas having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Al Brewer made a kick off. When Tanabodee Banwimol came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Thailand fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tanabodee Banwimol couldn't finish the play. Thailand's Tanabodee Banwimol got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Australia's Conner Carragher was substituted for Al Brewer. Australia made a substitution. Jimmy Hendrix replaced Son Min. After a rather tough play, Australia's Darin Prior got a free kick in the 60th minute. Tanabodee Banwimol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute Tanabodee Banwimol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stewart Thomas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Conner Carragher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Thailand's Wattana Karahkul got control of the ball when Conner Carragher tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Darin Prior came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Australia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darin Prior couldn't finish the play. Thailand's Wattana Karahkul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Thailand from getting a goal against them. Jimmy Hendrix succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 82nd playminute. Wattana Karahkul came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Australia's Conner Carragher. But to his dismay, Conner Carragher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Darin Prior got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 89 minutes into the game, Conner Carragher recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wattana Karahkul. Conner Carragher showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Wattana Karahkul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Drew Auger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conner Carragher might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wattana Karahkul. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Conner Carragher ran back to his position shaking his head. Australia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
