U21 Estonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Raido Aas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gojko Travar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Raido Aas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. U21 Croatia's Gojko Travar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elmut Kellu in the 17th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raido Aas was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, one of U21 Croatia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for U21 Croatia. When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, U21 Estonia's Raido Aas got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gojko Travar. U21 Estonia's Taavet Vest was substituted for Raido Aas. U21 Estonia made a substitution. Bernhard Saaring replaced Heigo Hirv. Harry Maguire made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jadranko Šrenger. The supporters of U21 Croatia booed when U21 Estonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tavo Tomat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villu Kurvits made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Livaja in the 69th minute of play. Taavet Vest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Taavet Vest blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gojko Travar having to make a save. Gojko Travar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taavet Vest's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Konrad Marts hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 88 played minutes U21 Estonia got a freekick which was hit by Tavo Tomat. A collision led to U21 Croatia getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Zdenko Maran hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Taavet Vest's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gojko Travar was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. In the 98th minute of the match U21 Estonia got a corner. U21 Croatia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Egon Lätte ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the final whistle went the supporters of U21 Estonia were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant U21 Croatia side.
