Spectators: 1031 (Terracing: 774, Seating: 237, VIP seats: 20) U21 Denmark's Walter Sigurjonsdottir started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Afonso da Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Anders Gade made a huge save. In the 6thth minute of the game Walter Sigurjonsdottir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Brazil's Supreme Mazarovich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Supreme Mazarovich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walter Sigurjonsdottir in the 8th minute of play. Anders Helsinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Supreme Mazarovich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute U21 Denmark were awarded a corner. Anders Helsinger went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led U21 Denmark's Augustin Barth to fire away a dangerous shot which Supreme Mazarovich despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Anders Gade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Veloso in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, U21 Brazil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, U21 Denmark's goalkeeper Anders Gade had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso da Cunha.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Afonso da Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. U21 Denmark's Martin Rana got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. U21 Brazil made a substitution. Ferreirinha dos Santos replaced Naldo Valladares. U21 Brazil made a substitution. Renan do Valle replaced Arí da Fonseca. U21 Brazil's Cris Fenomeno was substituted for Ronaldão Mendonça. After 58 minutes U21 Denmark's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jean-Pierre Pogba who took care of the corner kick. Jean-Pierre Pogba made a great header on U21 Brazil's corner, it was just that U21 Denmark's Anders Gade managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, U21 Denmark's Aage Ulholm got a free kick in the 59th minute. Anders Gade stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Anders Gade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cris Fenomeno in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Afonso da Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Anders Gade. U21 Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With an all-out effort, U21 Denmark's Supreme Mazarovich threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Svend Betz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 75th minute U21 Denmark were awarded a corner. Anders Helsinger went to the cornerflag to take it. Anders Helsinger made a great header on U21 Denmark's corner, it was just that U21 Brazil's Supreme Mazarovich managed to reach the ball for a save. Aage Ulholm's late challenge caught a U21 Brazil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aage Ulholm helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to U21 Denmark getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aage Ulholm hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes, U21 Brazil's Jean-Pierre Pogba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anders Gade came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U21 Brazil reached it. Anders Gade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso da Cunha in the 79th minute of play. Walter Sigurjonsdottir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristian Hernández hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the U21 Denmark defense, Cris Fenomeno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Gade. The U21 Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Gade should have stopped the shot. Anders Gade came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Brazil's Jean-Pierre Pogba. But to his dismay, Jean-Pierre Pogba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.
