The audience held their breath when Bernát Borsó in the 6th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Chiquito Flores's left hand side. Botond Détári made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Jorrin Briones sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, U21 Peru's Jorrin Briones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Botond Détári narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 minutes of play, U21 Peru's Jorrin Briones made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Botond Détári was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chiquito Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krisztián Matolcsy in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute Krisztián Matolcsy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquito Flores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Bernát Borsó notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of U21 Peru's Chiquito Flores. Chiquito Flores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chiquito Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklós Lovas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krisztián Matolcsy in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chiquito Flores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chiquito Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Szoboszlai, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to U21 Peru getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Xinaro Magarinos hit a great ball. Chiquito Flores made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Krisztián Matolcsy sent off a good shot on target. Chiquito Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Szoboszlai in the 63rd minute of the match. Waldir Saenz scored 3-4 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Botond Détári, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The U21 Peru supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching U21 Hungary's performance. The match ended with a win for U21 Hungary.
