An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Niedbalski in the 10th minute of play forced U21 Argentina's goalkeeper António Roma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Manex's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedykt Jaworski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Ulises Manex cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benedykt Jaworski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18thth minute of the game Jerzy Niedbalski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Argentina's António Roma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fraco Bilos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Fraco Bilos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benedykt Jaworski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Manex in the 29th minute of the match. Ulises Manex sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerzy Niedbalski to make the kick off. When U21 Argentina's Ulises Manex in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jerzy Niedbalski ran back to his position shaking his head. António Roma came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Poland's Jerzy Niedbalski. But to his dismay, Jerzy Niedbalski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ulises Manex who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Poland's Benedykt Jaworski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute, U21 Argentina's Ulises Manex dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. U21 Argentina's Rigoberto Bernal was substituted for Ulises Manex. 74 minutes into the match, U21 Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Niedbalski came free, but António Roma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto Bernal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Benedykt Jaworski made a huge save. U21 Poland made a substitution. Fryderyk Witwicki replaced Leonard Lamczyk. U21 Poland made a substitution. Ben Zynek replaced Francesc Totti. After 82 minutes U21 Poland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Máximo Čapo who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Benito Fiz heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Máximo Čapo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. U21 Argentina's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 96th minute, Máximo Čapo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
