Niles Lucas replaced Jordon Fordham. Niles Lucas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Nour Boualouch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abdelkarim Essamlali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Australia's Niles Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Agafay Zerouali made a precise shot to the right of Damian Anderson. Australia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-8. The Morocco fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Australia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
