Nunez Llorenc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Wolnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Nunez Llorenc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iwo Wolnik went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Mexico made a substitution. Amado Vergaray replaced Aquilino Cutberto. Mexico's Haroldo Sanson was substituted for Desiderio Soter. After a defensive mix-up in Poland's zone, Ildefonso Ursino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustaw Petrasz came out of the goal and Ildefonso Ursino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mexico's Ildefonso Ursino in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Poland's goalie prevented a goal. In the 23rd minute Iwo Wolnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Llorenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Iwo Wolnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nunez Llorenc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Wolnik in the 29th minute of the match. Gustaw Petrasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isai Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poland's Gustaw Petrasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isai Murillo in the 36th minute of play. Gustaw Petrasz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ildefonso Ursino in the 38th minute. The supporters of Poland booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Ursino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Ursino came free, but Gustaw Petrasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobald Wojtyna made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mexico's Filomeno Bordat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Wolnik in the 64th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Nunez Llorenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poland's Stanislaw Tobaczewski was substituted for Witold Chazen. A sloppy throw-in by Fabian Hludzenski in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mexico's Amado Vergaray. Stanislaw Tobaczewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zygmunt Dranka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nunez Llorenc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Dranka in the 75th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, Poland's Zygmunt Dranka made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nunez Llorenc was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the game, Zygmunt Dranka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nunez Llorenc. Zygmunt Dranka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Fabian Hludzenski made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mexico's Filomeno Bordat. Mateusz Morawiecki hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Mexico supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Poland's performance. The match ended with a win for Poland.
