Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andro Mitrović started the match with the kick off. Kalju Martsepp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Croatia! Višeslav Ivšić had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Karmo Pahapill's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Karmo Pahapill did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Višeslav Ivšić 16 minutes into the match. Višeslav Ivšić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karmo Pahapill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Estonia booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Srećko Meter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27th play minutes Karmo Pahapill shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Višeslav Ivšić and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Estonia's Olav Onkel got a free kick in the 30th minute. Višeslav Ivšić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karmo Pahapill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Karmo Pahapill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estonia made a substitution. Mark Krooni replaced Karmo Pahapill. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Croatia's goalkeeper Višeslav Ivšić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Mark Krooni made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Mark Krooni made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Croatia's Višeslav Ivšić tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Estonia's Mark Krooni in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Croatia's goalie prevented a goal. Croatia made a substitution. Marko Sansević replaced August Sarač. Croatia made a substitution. Ivan Mikša replaced Srećko Meter. In the 66th minute Kalju Martsepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Višeslav Ivšić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Croatia's Dubravko Kitić was substituted for Andro Mitrović. After 74 minutes of play, Estonia's Mark Krooni made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Višeslav Ivšić was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dubravko Kitić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Estonia's Bruno Koop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dubravko Kitić in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Eino Hovi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Višeslav Ivšić. Croatia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eino Hovi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Dubravko Kitić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Koop having to make a save. Eino Hovi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Višeslav Ivšić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Saša Cerić charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saša Cerić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Eino Hovi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estonia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 94th minute, Eino Hovi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Višeslav Ivšić was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Estonia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Croatia for a fine match.
