Mike Starck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Hamilton Tanner sped through France's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mike Starck. France's Nolan Staub got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Ellerton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nolan Staub, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a little luck, France's Mike Starck got control of the ball when Vance Crossman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evan Chamayou kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Damian Ellerton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nolan Staub in the 32nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Hamilton Tanner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Northern Ireland's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamilton Tanner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mike Starck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, Northern Ireland's goal looked a bit too open when Nolan Staub came free, but Damian Ellerton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nolan Staub in the 40th minute of play forced Northern Ireland's goalkeeper Damian Ellerton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Northern Ireland's goal looked a bit too open when Nolan Staub came free, but Damian Ellerton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Northern Ireland's Hamilton Tanner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 54th minute, Luc Duranton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Northern Ireland's goal looked a bit too open when Nolan Staub came free, but Damian Ellerton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Nolan Staub took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Damian Ellerton to make any attempt to save it. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Northern Ireland's goalkeeper Damian Ellerton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mike Starck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vance Crossman in the 71st minute of the match. France's Denis Perreault was substituted for Lilian Finance. France's Ramzy Vallot was substituted for Côme Mével. A collision led to Northern Ireland getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Joel Argent hit a great ball. Damian Ellerton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cheikh Coupeau in the 76th minute. Vance Crossman scored 4-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mike Starck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Northern Ireland's Damian Ellerton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Northern Ireland from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Glasby came free, but Mike Starck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
